Lab Testing
In our extensive lab facilities, i2M offers a broad range of testing capabilities to meet our diverse customer application spectrum. We can perform many physical, dimensional, flammability and accelerated weathering testing in our labs. In general, our standard lab practice is to conform to ASTM test methodology. We also run tests to Federal and ISO standards.
In response to highly specialized performance requirements or to troubleshoot a problem, we have developed our own re-producible test methods. Our equipment list includes spectrophotometers, accelerated weathering units, tensile and elmendorf tear test equipment, abrasives, ovens and flame testing cabinets. Using this equipment and our experienced technicians, we provide certification testing to meet customer requirements.
Agency Recognition
As an added service to those customers who require agency recognition for their products, i2M also works with Underwriters Laboratories, IAPMO, CRRC and Factory Mutual. We maintain meticulous records to satisfy the required quarterly and annual agency audits.
Custom Color Matching
At i2M, we are also proud to offer custom color matching services to meet even the most demanding customer requirements. Our team of color chemists is highly experienced and has sophisticated spectrophotometers and optical density measuring tools at their fingertips. The color chemists also work hand in hand with our quality assurance lab technicians to monitor production runs where particularly tight color tolerances are required.
Custom Product Development
When specialized formulations are required to meet exacting customer requirements, i2M's development team is ready to get to work. We are continually exploring the newest frontiers in thin film and membrane technology by experimenting with new product concepts, more efficient methods or production equipment and innovative raw materials. It remains our policy to work closely within the framework of the customer's needs to transform product ideas into commercial reality. We are capable of integrating light-resistant, age-proofing, weathering, fire-retardant, cold-resistance and other high performance qualities into our engineered products while maintaining aesthetic integrity.
Quality Control
i2M has a true team approach to quality. Everyone is part of creating and monitoring the production process and proactively managing each run to insure exacting customer needs are met. We deliver the right product to customer specifications the first time, on time, every time.
The i2M quality process is a relentless effort to eliminate defects on all levels, synthesize and build on our collective strengths and add measurable value for our customers. The i2M Lab and Quality Control teams are committed to quality production monitoring from the inspection of raw materials coming into our facility to the packaging and shipping of products out to our customers.
When necessary, we will work together with a customer in developing new procedures to assure conformance with specifications. |
